What is Reefer LTL?
The RLTL mode is a specialized mode that allows customers to move small orders that do not require the full space of a 53ft truck. This allows the carrier to utilize partitioning of the trucks space to minimize cost to the customer and maximize efficiency to the truck and its schedule.
RLTL is your median of cost and service
Transit time
With most of our network of carriers the average turn around for a load is about a week. This mode requires lots of planning so lead time for orders is crucial to the success of your product meeting certain due dates.
Keep in mind RLTL is a Non-Guaranteed service, if you are asking for a quote on an URGENT shipment, you should NOT ship RLTL.
Area of service
We have multiple carriers that can pick up nationwide and deliver nationwide. However, Our strongest are of service is outbound Chicago - Nationwide.
We Use CWT and Pallet Spot Pricing
If you have RFPs you need priced out, please let us know how you would like to receive them back, as we can accommodate both methods of pricing.
Sailing Schedules
All of our carriers run on sailing schedules. This simply means they deliver to certain receivers on certain days and their delivery days do not waiver. If you have certain clients you need to deliver into, let us know and we will see how we can fit them into our expansive network of RLTL carriers.
